Android Auto users were in for a nasty surprise after the launch of the latest 7.2 update, which saw a very important application disappear.

Google's latest update for Android Auto has simply made Google Maps disappear, and we still don't know the reasons for this bizarre bug.

Users had to use the Google Maps alternative, Waze, to find their way home. In the meantime, Google has still not communicated on this matter.
