A new constraint in Google Maps

You could say it's an honest move on the part of Google Maps, even if it won't be to everyone's taste. The world's most widely used navigation application has new terms of use.

In fact, when you log on to Google Maps, a new message appears inviting you to share your private data with the application so that you can continue to enjoy Maps information in real time.

. "As you navigate, Google collects information such as your GPS position and route. This data can be used to make information visible to others, including real-time traffic conditions and disruptions, and help them find the fastest route." declares the company.

If you refuse to do so, you will unfortunately no longer be able to take advantage of the application's real-time data.
